From IKEA furniture to YOUR furniture
An IKEA piece of furniture is a great and practical basis in your home. 
Who doesn't have something from IKEA at home? Many have gone before you to hack an IKEA piece of furniture and make it even more beautiful. This can be done, for example, by using a beautiful wooden panel as the top of the furniture, or by cladding the entire piece with solid wood. This is possible with new IKEA furniture, but it is even more sustainable to give your existing IKEA furniture a second life. This way you can camouflage the top damaged by prolonged use with a beautiful solid wooden top.
What wood do you use?
We like medium rustic oak, this is beautiful light wood with a knot here and there. This way you can clearly see the beautiful drawing in the wood, not too busy, nice and natural. We prefer to use 30 mm thick oak, which is a sufficiently solid size that fits nicely with the design of the IKEA BESTÅ and is nice and stable. We then like to finish the panels with our magical matte clear coat . This varnish preserves the natural untreated look of the oak and optimally protects the wood.

If you say " YES, I also want to hack my IKEA furniture ", then that is possible. We have even made it a standard product so that you can easily provide your measurements online. Your top will then already have a nice edge finish as standard and any gaps or cracks in the knots will have been stopped so that your top is nice and smooth.
